"Hole" Language
I was giving a second grade spelling word sentence where the students had to use the word "because." This is what I got from one youngster: "I can't read because I can't spire."

A red-haired kindergartner replied, "Really old my mom is 25."
And a sympathetic peer chimed in, "Yeah, my grandpa was really old too he was 25 when he died."
